Adapter And Clamp Mount Accessory Rails
Adapter Mount Picatinny Rails fasten to the accessory mount points on the sides of Mesa Tactical High-tube telescoping stock adapters, not on the shotgun receiver. They can also be used on the sides of our Barrel Clamps, Magazine Clamps and clamps used as front mount points for 20 inch and 24 inch rails, which feature the same mounting hole pattern as our stock adapters; or our Picatinny rails for the Kel-Tec KSG shotgun. Standard profile rails like the Stubby adhere to the minimum height requirement of the MIL-STD 1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) specification, and should not be used for mounting optics with the High-tube telescoping stock adapters. Tall profile rails are designed to mount optics for use with High-tube telescoping stock adapters, or to mount accessories slightly away from the receiver when fastened to the telescoping stock adapter side accessory mount points. When used for optics, the elevation of the tall profile rails is similar to that of a flat top AR-15.
