Perfect on the Beretta 1301 Mod 2
I have the six shell, right side version mounted to my Beretta 1301 mod 2. The shell carrier looks like it might as well be stock, and the retention system with the rubber bar that runs crosswise between the base plate and shell slots to grip the shells in place works very well. If you have an Urbino stock, you can't go wrong.

Perfect fit
Looks and feels top grade. Sits right where you need it and doesn’t interfere. Installation on the urbino was simple and took about 2 minutes.

Shell holder
Really well thought out, way better than I expected it to be. Easy install on the Beretta 1301 with the Mesa stock. Also comes with 2 different density tubes for setting up the retention strength.

Fit and finish
I love this item for my 1301. Perfect fit and holds the rounds tightly. I had minor difficulty installing one of the two mounting screws as the thread length was a bit short. It also loosened after 25 rounds but easily fixed. Some loctite provided could help. Thank you

Mesa Tactical’s shell carrier meets a huge need to help increase load capacity in a very convenient way. Love the build quality and fit and finish.

Shotgun carrier
The shotgun holder mount very easy to install but the one thing that needs improvement the shells are very tight to insert in to the holder I had to put a little lubricant to make them slide in easy
