Urbino® Pistol Grip Stock for Beretta 1301 & A300 (12-GA)

Mesa Tactical offers a shortened length of pull stock, known as the “Urbino” stock, for Benelli, Mossberg, an Remington and Beretta 1301 semi-automatic shotguns and A300. Pistol grip butt stock for the Beretta A320

The stocks built really well, but the hand grip is bulky and it put your hand in it, uncomfortable position, not enough room, where the web your hand goes on the back of the pistol grip. It will do the job, but I’m not impressed

Very well made stock, install was straightforward. Chose the riser with limbsaver. I was impressed with the quality of this stock. Its rock solid. My olny gripe is the space between the rear of the grip and the bottom of the stock. It's a little too tight, with no gloves on. I would like to rotate my right hand clockwise on the grip, but there's not enough room in the area where the web between your thumb and first finger land on the grip. That said, I'm going to get some more time with it and see if I can find a happy medium. If they made a " wide gap " version or adjust the angle of the stock just a touch. Would be a nice option especially if you want to wear gloves.

    Beretta A300 pistol grip

Posted by Angel on 1st Aug 2024

The package came In with no damages and everything inside was nearly compact, the installation was pretty simple to do and overall I think everything went well. One thing I want to say is that the manual for the installation was kinda vague and confused me on some occasions, it doesn't really help that the instructions included didn't help with the step by step process and mentions other shotguns which only complicated the installation, I ended up having to look up a video of another person putting the pistol grip on in order to see if everything i did was correct. Overall though I'm still happy however it'll only be a matter of time and usage to judge if the pistol grip is for me and if it'll hold up.

Looks good. My only gripe is that the web of my large hand gets pinched in the radius. The angle of the grip combine with the angle of the butt stock creates a corner. That’s too small for my Slightly larger than average hand. I am hoping there’s a replacement rubber grip that would reduce this impingement?
