I wasn’t too fond of the cheap, plastic fore-end that came on my 930, but there were few aftermarket options at the time so I just dealt with it for years. I would even search the web from time to time checking to see if there were any new fore ends released. Then one day I found this. Couldn’t be happier!

Truckee forend for mossberg 930
First of all I really like the quality of the forend. If I could change one thing I would like to see it more stream lined. Also the instructions said for the 930 base the number was embossed on it. I couldn't find it so I had to study the picture to figure out the right one. After test firing about 20 or rounds the fit is tight with no rolling or rattling. Very pleased with it.

930/940 Truckee
Great for a defensive setup, but probably not for a 3 gun shotgun. I don’t shoot 3 gun, but I don’t think it would work well with quad loading.

Mossberg 940
I bought this for my Mossberg 940. I comes with hardware for both the 930 and 940. Installation was simple and quick. It feels solid and sturdy but it is a big wider than the stock forend. Overall, it's great.
