M4 Carbine Telescoping Hydraulic Recoil Stock (Mil-Spec)

Any Mesa Tactical telescoping stock kit can be upgraded with a KynShot hydraulic recoil buffer to reduce felt recoil by up to 70%. The hydraulic recoil buffer assemblies replace the receiver extension tubes in our stock kits. Purchase either a complete replacement M4 carbine telescoping recoil buttstock assembly, or the “drop in” hydraulic buffer alone (stock nut sold separately). Additional Limbsaver buttpads for the M4 carbine stock can also be ordered separately.

The M4 Carbine buttstock assemblies often ship from the factory in a “stuck” state that does not allow them to be adjusted. This is simple to remedy. Grab the buttstock with one hand and pull the adjustment lever away from the stock against the spring at a right angle to the receiver extension tube until you can pull the buttstock back along the tube. To install the M4 Carbine buttstock included in Mesa Tactical stock kits, ensure the stock lock nut and end plate end are installed on the stock receiver extension tube. CANNOT BE FITTED TO AR-15 RIFLES.
